Noida International Airport is the upcoming greenfield airport at Jewar, which will enhance connectivity to and from Delhi NCR, Noida and Western UP. The airport is being developed by Yamuna International Airport Private Limited (YIAPL), a 100% subsidiary of Zurich Airport International AG, in close partnership with Government of Uttar Pradesh and Government of India.

Job Description
Purpose:
- Responsible for overseeing airside operations to ensure compliance with airside regulations, operational standards, and airport procedures. This role involves conducting inspections, monitoring activities, and implementing corrective actions to maintain safety and efficiency on the airside.
Key Responsibilities
1. Conduct periodic inspections of airside areas, including runways, taxiways, aprons, and other critical zones, to ensure adherence to safety standards and operational protocols.
2. Provide follow-me services where required
3. Ensure adherence to issued work permit, monitor work area and undertake adhoc inspections of the work site for compliance
4. Monitor aircraft turnaround process
5. Support in Airfield Driving Permit and Airside Vehicle Entry Permit process
6. Take active part in monitoring wildlife movement and implementing mitigation measures
7. Facilitate all watch and ward maintenance activities
8. Coordinate on RT with ATC and internal stakeholders (E&M, ARFF etc.)
9. Inspection and assessment of Runway surface condition
10. Ensure adherence of all processes during adverse weather operations.
11. Ensure all airside processes, facilities and infrastructure comply with DGCA regulations, NIA policies, and airside rules and regulations.
12. Identify and report safety hazards, non-compliances, and operational inefficiencies. Oversee corrective action as needed.
13. File detailed records of inspections, incidents, and observations. Prepare and submit reports to management and regulatory authorities.
14. Liaise with airport staff, ground handling agents, airlines, and other stakeholders to ensure coordinated and efficient airside operations.
15. Communicate inspection findings and safety issues to relevant stakeholders
16. Ensure strict adherence to apron rules and regulations
17. Participate in emergency response drills and real emergency situations, ensuring effective coordination and adherence to emergency procedures.
18. Work on specific projects/tasks as and when assigned by Duty Manager Airside and Head Airside Operations.
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in science or related field is preferred
Certifications:
1. Relevant aviation certifications (e.g., Annex 14, GRF, Safety Management Systems) preferred.
2. Basic training on RT communication
3. Valid driver’s license (atleast LMV)
Job Requirement
Expertise:
Minimum 4 years of experience in core Airside operations with preferable exposure to Aerodrome Licensing process and its compliance requirements.
Skills
1. Strong understanding of airside operations, safety regulations and airport procedures
2. Understanding of all applicable rules and regulatory framework, DGCA CAR and circulars
3. Understanding on functions of airport stakeholders: AAI: ATC, CNS, AIS; BCAS, E&M, ARFF, GHAs and Airlines
4. Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills along with observational and analytical skills
5. RT proficiency and skilled driver
6. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
